Sweater in Wavy Lace Pattern

How to knit the sweater in wavy lace pattern:
Sizes: 36/38 (40/42) EU = US 4/6 (8/10), UK 8/10 (12/14)
Materials:
450 (500) g wool and acrylic yarn (164 yds/50 g). Knitting needles size 6 and 7 US (4 mm and 4.5 mm).

Reverse Stocking Stitch (needles 4 mm / US 6): on right-side rows purl stitches, on wrong-side rows knit stitches.
Ribbing Pattern (needles 4 mm / US 6): alternately 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch.
Work all other patterns with needles 4.5 mm / US 7.
Stocking Stitch: right-side rows knit stitches, wrong-side rows purl stitches.
Lace Pattern:
Work according to the chart, which shows right-side rows only.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Work rows 1–32 three times, then work rows 1–20 once.
Then continue in Stocking Stitch, crossing the “cables” within the lace pattern in every 6th row.

Gauge: 23 stitches and 29.5 rows = 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm).

Back:
Cast on 128 (134) stitches and work 2 cm (3/4 in) in Reverse Stocking Stitch for the hem.
Then work as follows: 1 edge stitch, 0 (3) stitches in Stocking Stitch, 126 stitches in Lace Pattern, 0 (3) stitches in Stocking Stitch, 1 edge stitch.
For the neckline, at a height of 48 cm (19 in) = 142 rows from the hem, bind off the center 32 stitches and finish both sides separately.
For neck shaping, bind off in every 2nd row 1 time 3 stitches and 1 time 1 stitch.
At a height of 50 cm (19 3/4 in) = 148 rows from the hem, bind off the remaining 44 (47) stitches.
Front:
Work as for the back, but with a deeper neckline.
For this, at a height of 44 cm (17 1/4 in) = 130 rows from the hem, bind off the center 26 stitches and finish both sides separately.
For neck shaping, bind off on both sides in every 2nd row 1 time 3 stitches, 1 time 2 stitches, and 2 times 1 stitch.
Sleeves:
Cast on 60 stitches and work 2 cm (3/4 in) in Reverse Stocking Stitch for the hem, increasing evenly 18 stitches in the last row = 78 stitches.
Continue in Lace Pattern, working rows 1–32 once.
For sleeve shaping, increase on both sides, starting from the hem, alternately in every 4th and 6th row 26 times 1 stitch = 130 stitches.
At a height of 46 cm (18 in) = 136 rows from the hem, bind off all stitches.
Finishing:
Sew shoulder seams.
With circular needles, pick up approximately 102 stitches around the neckline and work 2 cm (3/4 in) in Ribbing Pattern and 2 cm (3/4 in) in Stocking Stitch (in the round knit all stitches), then bind off all stitches.
Sew side seams, leaving the upper 28 cm (11 in) open for the armholes.
Set in the sleeves.
