Sweater in Lace Pattern
How to knit the Sweater in Lace Pattern:
Size: 40 (EU) / 12 (UK) / 8 (US)
Materials:
400 g yarn (50% wool, 50% acrylic), circular needles 3 mm (UK 11 / US 2.5).
Ribbing Pattern: alternately knit 1 stitch, purl 1 stitch.
Lace Pattern:
Work according to chart 1, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Repeat rows 1 to 12 in height.
Fantasy Pattern:
Work according to chart 2, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Repeat in height as indicated in the instructions.
Back:
Cast on 108 stitches and work 4 cm / 1.6 inches in Ribbing Pattern.
Continue in Lace Pattern.
At a height of 62 cm / 24.4 inches from cast-on, bind off all stitches.

Front:
Work as the back, but with a deeper neckline.
For this, at a height of 57 cm / 22.4 inches from cast-on, bind off the middle 15 stitches and finish both sides separately.
For shaping the neckline, on both sides in every 2nd row bind off 3 times 2 stitches and 3 times 1 stitch.
Sleeves:
Cast on 53 stitches and work 4 cm / 1.6 inches in Ribbing Pattern.
Continue in Fantasy Pattern, repeating rows 1 and 2 of chart 2.
For sleeve shaping, increase on both sides in every 4th right-side row 20 times 1 stitch.
At a height of 30 cm / 11.8 inches from cast-on, work rows 9 to 38 of the Fantasy Pattern according to chart 2.
At a height of 44 cm / 17.3 inches from cast-on, bind off all stitches.
Finishing:
Work the right shoulder seam.
For the neckband, pick up stitches along the neckline and work 8 cm / 3.1 inches in Ribbing Pattern.
Work the left shoulder seam and sew the neckband.
Fold the neckband in half to the inside and sew it invisibly from the wrong side.
Work the side seams and sleeve seams, set in the sleeves.
