Raglan Sweater with Leaf Stitch Pattern

How to knit the Raglan Sweater with Leaf Stitch Pattern:
Sizes: Medium/Large (X-Large/XX-Large).
Finished measurements:
Bust: 40/42 (46/48) in = 102/107 (117/122 cm).
Materials:
300 (350) g cotton and polyacrylic yarn (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, 153 yds/50 g); size 4 US (3.5 mm) knitting needles and circular knitting needles.

Garter Stitch Pattern: on right-side and wrong-side rows work knit stitches; in rounds alternate 1 round knit stitches and 1 round purl stitches.
Stockinette Stitch: right-side rows knit stitches, wrong-side rows purl stitches.
Leaf Stitch Pattern: multiple of 16 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.
Work according to chart 1, only right-side rows are shown.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Begin with 1 edge stitch and the stitches before the pattern repeat, repeat the pattern throughout, end with the stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.
Work rows 1–20 once, then repeat rows 1–10 once more.
Center Cable Pattern (over 37 stitches, from row 2 over 44 stitches):
Work according to chart 2, only right-side rows are shown.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear.
Work rows 1–32 once, then repeat rows 3–32 throughout.
Raglan Cable A (over 10 stitches):
Work according to chart 3, only right-side rows are shown.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear.
Work rows 1–8 once, then repeat rows 3–8 throughout.
Raglan Cable B (over 10 stitches):
Work as Raglan Cable A, but according to chart 4.
Sleeve Pattern (over 17 stitches):
Work as the Leaf Stitch Pattern, but work only the stitches before the pattern repeat once and the stitches after the pattern repeat once.
Repeat rows 1–20 throughout.
Openwork Edging in rounds: even number of stitches.
Round 1 and 2: purl stitches.
Round 3: knit stitches.
Round 4: * yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, repeat from * throughout.
Round 5: work the stitches and yarn overs knit.
Round 6: purl stitches.
Round 7: bind off all stitches purlwise.


Gauge:
Leaf Stitch Pattern: 19 stitches and 27 rows = 4 x 4 in = 10 x 10 cm;
Stockinette Stitch: 19 stitches and 28 rows = 4 x 4 in = 10 x 10 cm;
Garter Stitch Pattern: 19 stitches and 30 rows = 4 x 4 in = 10 x 10 cm;
Center Cable Pattern: 44 stitches = 7.5 in = 19 cm;
Sleeve Pattern: 17 stitches = 3.25 in = 8 cm.

Back:
Cast on 99 (115) stitches and for the edging work 4.25 in = 11 cm = 30 rows in the Leaf Stitch Pattern.
Then work 0.75 in = 2 cm = 6 rows in Garter Stitch Pattern and continue in Stockinette Stitch.
For the raglan shaping, after 10.75 in = 27 cm = 76 rows from the beginning of Stockinette Stitch bind off 1 stitch on both sides, then decrease 1 stitch 2 times in every 2nd row = 93 (109) stitches.
After 11.5 in = 29 cm = 82 rows of Stockinette Stitch continue as follows: 1 edge stitch, 10 stitches Raglan Cable A, 71 (87) stitches Stockinette Stitch, 10 stitches Raglan Cable B, 1 edge stitch.
In the raglan cables decrease 1 stitch 24 (30) times in every 2nd row according to the chart, then work 2 rows without decreases.
After 19 in = 48 cm = 134 rows (20.5 in = 52 cm = 146 rows) from the Garter Stitch section bind off the remaining 45 (49) stitches.

Front:
Begin as for the Back, but with the Center Cable Pattern and neckline.
Begin the cable pattern after 0.75 in = 2 cm = 6 rows of Garter Stitch Pattern over the center 37 stitches, at the same time increase 7 stitches in row 1 as shown in the chart for shaping balance = 106 (122) stitches.
For the neckline, after 18 in = 46 cm = 128 rows (19.75 in = 50 cm = 140 rows) from the Garter Stitch section bind off the center 12 (16) stitches and finish both sides separately.
For the neckline shaping at the inner edge bind off 5 stitches once and 3 stitches once in every 2nd row.
At Back height bind off the remaining 12 stitches.

Sleeves:
Cast on 67 stitches and work 4.25 in = 11 cm = 30 rows in the Leaf Stitch Pattern.
Then work 0.75 in = 2 cm = 6 rows in Garter Stitch Pattern, then over the center 17 stitches work the Sleeve Pattern and on both sides work Stockinette Stitch.
For the sleeve shaping after the edging increase 1 stitch on both sides 0 (6) times in every 8th row according to pattern = 67 (79) stitches.
For the raglan shaping after 6.25 in = 16 cm = 46 rows from the Garter Stitch section bind off 1 stitch on both sides, then decrease 1 stitch 2 times in every 2nd row = 61 (73) stitches.
After 7.75 in = 19.5 cm = 54 rows from the Garter Stitch section decrease on both sides 24 (30) times in every 2nd row as follows: at the beginning of the row after the edge stitch work 2 stitches together with slip-slip-knit decrease (= slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 stitch and pass the slipped stitch over), at the end of the row before the edge stitch knit 2 stitches together.
Work another 3 (2) rows without decreases.
After 100 (110) rows of the Sleeve Pattern do not begin a new leaf, but work the stitches as they appear.
After 14.5 in = 37 cm = 104 rows (16 in = 41 cm = 116 rows) from the Garter Stitch section bind off the remaining 13 stitches.

Finishing:
Sew all seams.
Using circular knitting needles pick up 114 (122) stitches along the neckline edge, work 6 rounds of the Openwork Edging and bind off the stitches purlwise.
