Pullover with V-Neckline

How to knit the pullover with a V-neckline:
Sizes: US 4–6 (US 8–10) (US 12–14) / UK 8–10 (UK 12–14) (UK 16–18)
Materials:
300 g yarn (50 % polyacrylic, 30 % natural wool, 20 % mohair, 1640 yd/10.6 oz); circular needles US 6 (4 mm) and US 7 (4.5 mm).
Ribbing Pattern (needles US 6 / 4 mm): alternately 1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch.
All following patterns work with needles US 7 (4.5 mm).
Stockinette Stitch: on right-side rows knit stitches, on wrong-side rows purl stitches.
Lace Pattern:
Work according to the chart, which shows right-side rows only.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Repeat Rows 1–12 throughout.
Gauge:
Stockinette Stitch: 22 stitches and 30 rows = 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm).
Front:
Cast on 106 (114) (122) stitches and work 2 inches (5 cm) in Ribbing Pattern.
Then distribute the stitches as follows: 30 (34) (38) stitches Stockinette Stitch, 46 stitches Lace Pattern, 30 (34) (38) stitches Stockinette Stitch.
At the same time, for the side shaping, beginning with Row 2 after the ribbing, increase 1 stitch in Stockinette Stitch on each side every 20th row 5 times = 116 (124) (132) stitches.

Pullover with V-NecklineAt a height of 14.25 inches (36 cm) from the cast-on edge, bind off 7 (7) (9) stitches on each side for the armholes.
At a height of 15.5 inches (39 cm) from the cast-on edge, bind off the center stitch for the V-neckline and finish both sides separately.
For the slope, knit the last two stitches before the lace panel together, or slip 1 stitch, knit the next stitch and pass the slipped stitch over (slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 stitch and pass the slipped stitch over) for the first two stitches after the lace panel.
Work the decreases 5 times every 2nd row and 15 times every 4th row (9 times every 2nd row and 13 times every 4th row) (9 times every 2nd row and 13 times every 4th row).
At a height of 25.5 inches (65 cm) from the cast-on edge, bind off the remaining shoulder stitches.
Back:
Work as for the front, but after the ribbing work Stockinette Stitch only and finish with a higher neckline.
For this, at a height of 24.75 inches (63 cm) from the cast-on edge, bind off the center 28 (32) (32) stitches and then bind off on each side in every 2nd row 3 stitches twice.
Sleeves:
Cast on 40 (44) (44) stitches and work 2 inches (5 cm) in Ribbing Pattern, at the same time evenly increase 22 stitches in the last row = 62 (66) (66) stitches.
Work in Stockinette Stitch, at the same time for the sleeve shaping increase 1 stitch on each side every 4th row 26 times (28 times) (28 times), then every 2nd row 7 times (3 times) (3 times) = 128 stitches.
At a height of 19 inches (48 cm) (19 inches / 48 cm) (19.25 inches / 49 cm) from the cast-on edge, bind off the stitches.
Finishing:
Work the shoulder seams.
Set in the sleeves, matching the sleeve center with the shoulder seam.
Work the remaining seams.
Pick up 165 (173) (173) stitches around the neckline and work 1.25 inches (3 cm) in Ribbing Pattern, with the center stitch being a knit stitch.
For the V-neck edging, beginning with Round 2, every 2nd round decrease 2 stitches 4 times as follows: slip the center stitch and the previous stitch as if to knit, knit the next stitch and pass the slipped stitches over.
Bind off the stitches.
