Leaf Pattern:
Work according to the chart, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work stitches as they appear, purl yarn overs, and knit the stitches in garter stitch.
In width, begin with 1 edge stitch and 0 (3) 6 stitches in garter stitch, work once 40 stitches from the chart, then the center stitch, and from the center stitch work another 40 stitches symmetrically to the first 40 stitches of the chart, end with 0 (3) 6 stitches in garter stitch and 1 edge stitch.
Pattern Sequence:
First work once rows 1 and 2, then 4 times rows 3 and 4, and once from row 3 to row 52. After that, over the center 15 stitches work once from row 53 to row 62, then continuously repeat rows 63 and 64.
At the same time, beginning from row 57, increase at both sides according to the chart in a V-shape and work as in the center panel.
Gauge: 14.5 stitches and 22 rows = 4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm).

At 25½ in (65 cm) from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.
Back:
Work as front, but with a shallower neckline.
For this, at 24¾ in (63 cm) bind off the center 13 (15) 17 stitches and in every following 2nd row bind off 1 time 3 stitches (1 time 4 stitches) 1 time 5 stitches, and 1 time 2 stitches.
