Pullover with Lace Pattern
How to knit the pullover with lace pattern:
Size: US 8–10 / UK 10–12.
Material: 400 g yarn (82% acrylic, 18% polyester, 213 yds/109 yds per 3.5 oz), knitting needles size 6 mm (US 10 / UK 4) and crochet hook size 6.5 mm (US K/10.5).
Stockinette Stitch: right side rows – knit stitches, wrong side rows – purl stitches.
Lace Pattern: work according to the corresponding chart.
Single Crochet (sc): insert the hook, yarn over, draw up a loop, yarn over again and pull through all loops on the hook.
Crab Stitch: work single crochet stitches from left to right.
Gauge: Lace pattern: 15 sts x 17 rows = 4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm).
Front: Cast on 72 sts and work in the lace pattern according to the chart for the front. After 19.5 in (50 cm) from the beginning, for the neckline bind off the center 13 sts and finish each side separately. For rounding, bind off at the inner edge of the neckline in every 2nd row 5 sts twice. When the chart is completed, bind off all stitches.
Back: Cast on 72 sts and work in the lace pattern according to the chart for the back. When the chart is completed, bind off all stitches.
Note: Between the front and back there is a difference of 6 rows – this is for the shaping of the back. However, when sewing the side seams, this difference must be distributed evenly so that the fabric does not pucker.
Sleeves: Cast on 42 sts and work in the lace pattern according to the chart for the sleeve. After 9.75 in (25 cm) from the beginning, bind off all stitches.
Finishing: Sew the shoulder seams. Work 1 round of crab stitch around the neckline. Sew the side and sleeve seams. Set in the sleeves.
