Gauge: 23.5 stitches and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches).
Back:
Cast on 131 (143) stitches and work in the zigzag pattern and textured pattern.
After row 43 from the beginning of work (last row is a wrong-side row), continue as follows: 1 edge stitch, 20 (26) stitches in the textured pattern, 15 stitches in pattern A, 30 stitches in pattern C, 30 stitches in pattern D, 15 stitches in pattern B, 20 (26) stitches in the textured pattern, 1 edge stitch.
At the same time, in row 1 increase 1 stitch = 132 (144) stitches.
At 72 cm = 245 rows (28 3/8 inches) from the cast-on edge, bind off the middle 50 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately.
For the neckline shaping, bind off in every 2nd row 1 time 2 stitches and 1 time 1 stitch.
At 74 cm in row 251 (29 1/8 inches) from the cast-on edge, bind off the remaining shoulder stitches.
Front:
Work as for the back, but with a deeper neckline.
For this, at 69 cm = 235 rows (27 1/8 inches) from the cast-on edge, bind off the middle 18 stitches for the neckline, then on both sides for the neckline shaping bind off in every 2nd row 1 time 5 stitches, 1 time 3 stitches, 1 time 2 stitches and 3 times 3 stitches.
Bind off the remaining 38 (44) shoulder stitches at the same height as for the back.
Sleeves:
Cast on 67 stitches and work in the zigzag pattern and textured pattern, placing the center of the pattern at the center of the sleeve.
For the sleeve shaping, increase from the beginning on both sides in every 2nd row 8 times 1 stitch and in every 4th row 28 times 1 stitch, working the increased stitches into the pattern = 139 stitches.
At 39 cm = 132 rows (15 3/8 inches) from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.
Finishing:
Work the seams, leaving the upper side seams open for 29.5 cm (11 5/8 inches) for the armholes.
For the neckline edging, pick up approximately 110 stitches along the neckline edge with circular needles and work 3 cm (1 1/8 inches) in garter stitch, then bind off the stitches.
Set in the sleeves.
