Lace Pullover Knitting Pattern
How to knit the Lace Pattern Pullover:
Sizes: US 6(8)10(12)14 = UK 10(12)14(16)18
Materials:
250(300)350(350)400 g yarn (65% acrylic, 35% mohair, 190 m/50 g), knitting needles size 4.5 mm (US 7, UK 7) and 5 mm (US 8, UK 6), circular needles size 4 mm (US 6, UK 8) with lengths of 60 cm and 40 cm.
Ribbing Pattern 1x1: *Knit 1, purl 1* alternately.
Ribbing Pattern 2x1: *Knit 2, purl 1* alternately.
Ribbing Pattern 2x2: *Knit 2, purl 2* alternately.
Garter stitch: work knit stitches in right-side and wrong-side rows.
Lace Hexagon Pattern:
Work following the chart, which shows only the right-side rows.
On the wrong-side rows purl all stitches and the yarn overs.
The pattern repeat consists of 8 stitches in width.
Begin with 1 edge stitch and 4 stitches before the repeat, always repeat the pattern repeat, end with 5 stitches after the repeat and 1 edge stitch.
In height, repeat rows 1–20 throughout.
Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rows on needles size 5 mm (US 8, UK 6) = 10 x 10 cm.
Back:
With needles size 4.5 mm (US 7, UK 7) cast on 69(75)83(89)97 stitches and work 12 cm in Double Ribbing Pattern 1x1.
Then on the wrong side work 1 row in purl stitches, at the same time evenly increase 12(14)14(16)16 stitches = 81(89)97(105)113 stitches.
Change to needles size 5 mm (US 8, UK 6) and continue in Lace Hexagon Pattern as follows: work 4 stitches from the right side of the chart, then repeat the 8-stitch pattern repeat 9(10)11(12)13 times, and 5 stitches from the left side of the chart.
At 47(48)49(50)51 cm height, for the armhole bind off at both sides in every 2nd row 1 x 4(4)5(5)5 stitches, 1(2)2(2)3 x 2 stitches and 2(1)2(3)3 x 1 stitch.
At armhole depth of 3(4)5(5)6 cm, for the neckline bind off the center 22(27)29(29)31 stitches and finish each side separately.
For rounding of the neckline bind off from the inner edge in every 2nd row 1 x 8(8)9(9)10 stitches, 1 x 4(4)5(5)5 stitches and 5(5)5(6)6 x 2 stitches.
Front: work the same as the back.
Sleeves:
With needles size 4.5 mm (US 7, UK 7) cast on 49(49)49(57)57 stitches and work 4 rows in garter stitch.
Work 1 more wrong-side row in purl stitches.
Change to needles size 5 mm (US 8, UK 6) and continue in Lace Hexagon Pattern as follows: work 4 stitches from the right side of the chart, then repeat the 8-stitch pattern repeat 5(5)5(6)6 times, and 5 stitches from the left side of the chart.
At 15 cm height increase 1 stitch at each side in Lace Pattern, then in every 12th(10th)8th(10th)8th row 3(2)5(4)7 times and then in every 10th(8th)6th(8th)6th row 2(5)4(3)2 times = 61(65)69(73)77 stitches.
At total height of 45(46)47(48)49 cm, bind off at both sides in every 2nd row 1 x 3(4)4(5)5 stitches, 1(2)2(2)3 x 2 stitches, 2(1)2(3)3 x 1 stitch and finally bind off the remaining 47(47)49(49)49 stitches.

Finishing:
Sew raglan seams.
Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
Pick up 260(268)272(272)276 stitches with circular needles along the neckline edge and work 4 cm in Ribbing Pattern 2x2.
In the next round, in each purl rib work 2 purl stitches together = 195(201)204(204)297 stitches.
Work 7 cm in Ribbing Pattern 2x1.
In the next round, in each knit rib work 2 knit stitches together = 130(134)136(136)138 stitches.
Continue in Double Ribbing Pattern 1x1 until the border measures 9(9)9(10)10 cm. Bind off all stitches.
