Knitted Wide Lace Jacket
Size: 10 (US 8).
Materials:
250 g of yarn (100% cotton, 110 m/50 g) and 250 g of yarn (silk with lurex); knitting needles no. 5 (US 3.75) and crochet hook no. 3 (US C).
Gauge: 15 stitches and 21 rows ·= 10 x 10 сm.
Main Pattern:
Work according to the chart 1, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, purl all stitches and yarn overs.
Pattern for the lower part of the sleeve:
Work according to the chart 2, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, purl all stitches and yarn overs.
Cast on 104 sts (= 6 repeats of 17 sts + 2 edge sts) and knit each wedge according to the chart 1, increasing within the pattern with yarn overs.
At a height of 23 cm (row 41), for the sleeves, place the stitches of the 2nd and 5th wedges on stitch holders, join the fronts and back, and continue knitting the remaining 4 wedges as one piece according to the chart 1.
After finishing the pattern, bind off all stitches.
Place the held sleeve stitches back on the working needles and complete each sleeve according to the chart 2.
Crochet all edges with 3 rounds of single crochet, then finish with one round of crab stitch (single crochet from left to right).
