Materials: 

Yarn: 500 g (40% Microfiber, 30% Viscose, 30% Cotton, yardage = 140 m per 100 g ball); one pair quick knit needles size 4 mm (US 6); hook-and-eye clasps.

Reverse stocking stitch (Rev st st): Work RS rows P and WS rows K.

Garter st (gst): RS and WS rows K.

Rib Patt: alt K1, P1 Rib.

Tulip Pattern: 

Work according to chart. RS and WS rows are shown.

Gauge: 17 sts and 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 109 sts and work 4 rows in gst, 6 rows in Rib Patt and 2 rows in Rev St st. 

Cont as foll: selv st, 9 sts in Rev st st, 17 sts in Tulip Pattern, 3 x (7 sts in Rev St st, 17 sts in Tulip Pattern), 9 sts in Rev st st, selv st.

Work 1 row rep (= 26 rows).

Then work 2 rows in Rev St st, 4 rows in gst, 6 rows in Rib Patt, 4 rows in gst, 2 rows in Rev St st.

Cont to work in Tulip Patt as established. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 34 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 st 4 times on every 2nd row. 

Continue even. 

When piece measures 53 cm from cast on, for neckline shaping, bind off center 21 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once and 2 sts once on every 2nd row. 

When armhole measures 22 cm, bind off rem 24 sts each side for shoulders.

Right Front: 

Cast on 55 sts and work 4 rows in gst, 6 rows in Rib Patt and 2 rows in Rev St st. 

Cont as foll: selv st, 9 sts in Rev St st, 17 sts in Tulip Pattern, 7 sts in Rev St st, 17 sts in Tulip Pattern, 9 sts in Rev st st, selv st.

Work 1 row rep (= 26 rows). 

Then work 2 rows in Rev St st, 4 rows in gst, 6 rows in Rib Patt, 4 rows in gst, and 2 rows in Rev St st.

Cont to work in Tulip Patt as established. 

After 34 cm from cast on, at left end work armhole as for back = 40 sts. 

Neckline Shaping: After 46 cm from cast on, on right side bind off 5 sts once, 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st 4 times on every 2nd row. 

When armhole measures 22 cm, bind off rem 24 sts each side for shoulders.

Left Front: Work in reverse.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 57 sts and work 4 rows in gst, 6 rows in Rib Patt, and 2 rows in Rev St st. 

Cont as foll: selv st, 7 sts in Rev St st, 17 sts in Tulip Pattern, 7 sts in Rev St st, 17 sts in Tulip Pattern, 7 sts in Rev st st, selv st. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 stitch every 10th row 5 times at each end = 65 sts. 

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 31 cm from beg, at each end bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 18 times, 2 sts twice, 3 sts once and rem 5 sts once on every 2nd row.

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams. 

Neck Band: Pick up 113 sts evenly around neck edge and work 4 rows in gst, 6 rows in Rib Patt, and 4 rows in gst. Then bind off all sts. 

Pick up 105 sts along vertical edges of fronts and work 4 rows in gst. Bind off sts. 

Sew on clasps.
