Top with Central Lace Motif

Size: 10/12 (US 8/10)

Materials: 

200 g Cotton Gold (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 330 m/100 g), one pair quick knit needles size 3,5 mm (US 4) and crochet hook size 3 mm (US C).  

Stockinette stitch (St st): work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Seed Stitch: 

Alt K1, P1 throughout. Stagger sts after each row.

Laсe Motif:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts and yos P or as established.

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 87 sts and work 10 rows in Seed Stitch Patt. 

Continue to work in stst. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 40 cm from border, bind off 5 sts once and 2 sts twice at each end, working first and last 6 sts in Seed Stitch Patt.

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 19 cm from beg armhole, bind off center 36 sts and complete both sides separately. 

Bind off 5 sts twice at neck edge for inner rounding. 

Then bind off rem 7 shoulder sts.

Front: 

Work same as back. When piece measures 38 cm from border, beg to work Lace Motif.  

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 14 cm from beg armhole, bind off center 26 sts and complete both sides separately. 

Bind off 5 sts twice and 1 stitch 5 times at neck edge for inner rounding. 

Then bind off rem 7 shoulder sts.

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams. 

Neckband: with RS facing and circular needle pick up 130 sts evenly around neck edge, work 19 rows in Seed Stitch Patt, then bind off all sts. 

Sew side seams. 

With crochet hook, work 1 rnds sc (single crochet) evenly around armholes.
