Top with Bamboo Leaf Pattern

Size: 10/12 (US 8/10)

Materials: 

200 g Soft Cotton (100% Cotton, 175 m per 50 g ball); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 2,5 mm (US 1,5) and crochet hook size 2,5 mm (US B).

Textured Pattern: 

Work according to chart 1. RS and WS rows are shown.

Bamboo Leaf Pattern: 

Work according to chart 2. Chart shows odd-numbered rnds and even-numbered rnds.

Strap Pattern: 

Work according to chart 3. RS and WS rows are shown.

Crochet trimming: 

Work according to crochet charts 1 and 2.

Strim pattern:

Work according to crochet chart 3.

Yoke is worked sideways in one piece. 

Cast on 38 sts and work in Textured Pattern. 

When piece measures 90 cm from beg, bind off all sts. 

Sew bound-off sts to cast-on sts, shaping the ring.

Lower piece: 

With circular needle, cast on 216 sts and join for working in rnds. Work 3 rnds purl.

Next, work in Bamboo Leaf Pattern. 

When piece measures 40 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Straps:

Cast on 16 sts and work in Strap Patt. 

When piece measures 37 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing: 

Sew lower piece to yoke, stretching slightly to fit. 

Sew straps to yoke. 

Work along strap edges with crochet hook according to crochet chart 1.  

Work along upper part of top according to crochet chart 2. 

Work strim according to crochet chart 3 and sew to center of yoke, as shown in photo.
