Textured Pullover Pattern

Textured Pullover Pattern

Size: 10/12 (US 8/10).

Materials:

Yarn: 350 g (80% alpaca, 20 % Merino wool, 300 m per 50 g ball); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 1,5 mm.

The pullover is worked with double strand.

Reverse stocking stitch (Rev st st): Work RS rows P and WS rows K.

Rib Pattern: * K1, P1, rep from * throughout.

Eyelet Stripes:

Work according to chart 1. The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yo's.

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.

Sleeve Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yo's.

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.

Eyelet Stripes with Bobble:

Work according to chart 3. The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yo's.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.

Textured Pattern:

Work according to chart 4. The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yo's.

Repeat Rows 1-28 throughout.

Knitting Gauge:

double strand in Eyelet Stripes: 24 sts and 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back:

Cast on 110 sts and work 7 rows in Rib Pattern and 1 row rev st st for border.

Then work 112 rows as follows: 1 edge st, 18 sts in Eyelet Stripes, 77 sts in Eyelet Stripes with Bobble, 12 sts in Eyelet Stripes, 1 st rev st st, 1 edge st.

For Armhole Shaping, on Row 121 from beg, bind off 8 sts at each end = 108 sts.

For Neckline Shaping, on Row 161 from beg, bind off center 18 sts and 2 sts every other row twice at both neck edges = 41 sts.

On Row 179 from beg, bind off all sts.

Front:

Cast on 110 sts and work 7 rows in Rib Pattern and 1 row rev st st for border.

Then work 112 rows as follows: 1 edge st, 18 sts in Eyelet Stripes, 28 sts in Textured Pattern, 12 sts in Eyelet Stripes,  28 sts in Textured Pattern, 18 sts in Eyelet Stripes, 4 st rev st st, 1 edge st.

Shape armhole and neck as for Back.

Sleeves:

Sew Shoulder seams.

Pick up 96 sts across each armhole edge and work 108 rows as follows: 1 edge st, 88 sts in Sleeve Pattern, 6 sts rev st st, 1 edge st.

For Sleeve shaping, on Row 17 from beg, bind off 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch on every foll 4th row 22 times = 50 sts.

Continue in Rib Pattern for 8 rows.

On Row 117 from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

For Neck Band, with circular needle, pick up 100 sts evenly around neck edge and work 5 rnds in Rib Pattern, bind off all sts as they appear.
