Summer V-Neck Tunic

Materials:

Yarn: 400 g (50% Cotton, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 170 m/100 g), 1 pair of knit needle size 4 mm (US 6), crochet hook size 3 mm (US C).

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Lace Pattern: 

Work acc to сhart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts and yos P.

Repeat Rows 1-6 throughout.

Eyelet Pattern: 

Work according to сhart 2. RS rows and partly WS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-18 throughout.

Lace Panels: 

Work acc to сhart 3. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-10 throughout.

Back:

Cast on 112 sts and work in Lace Pattern.

Work Rows 1-6 9 times, then work 8 rows in St st.

Cont in Eyelet Pattern. Work Rows 1-18 once and work 8 rows in St st.

Then dec 2 sts and work in Lace Panels. 

When piece meas 44 cm from cast on, work Rows 3-4 acc to chart 2. 

After 45 cm from cast on, work in St st. For armhole shaping, bind off 4 sts at each end.

Continue even. 

Neckline Shaping: After 65 cm from cast on, bind off center 30 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 5 sts twice and 4 sts once. 

When piece measures 69 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Front: 

Work like back, but with V-neck as foll:

At height of armhole, divide work in the middle and complete both sides separately.

For neckline shaping, at inside edge bind off 1 st 29 times. 

When piece measures 69 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Sleeve: 

Cast on 64 sts and work 6 rows in St st. 

Then work Rows 3-4 acc to chart 2 and 4 rows in St st. At the same time, inc 1 st on every 2nd row at both ends.  

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 8 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 4 sts and then on every 2nd row 2 sts 8 times, 3 sts 3 times and rem sts once.

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves. 

With crochet hook, work 4 rnds sc (single crochet) around bottom edge, sleeve edges and neckline edge.
