Summer Pullover in Fancy Pattern

Size: M

Materials: 

Yarn: 350 g (50% Viscose, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 440 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 4.5 mm (US 7); one crochet hook size 3 mm (US C).

The pullover is worked with double strand. 

Fancy Pattern:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-48 throughout.

Gauge: 21 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 92 sts and knit 2 rows.

Cont in Fancy Pattern (= 3 patt reps + 2 selv sts). 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 42 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts, then 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row = 78 sts. 

Neckline Shaping: After 55 cm from beg, bind off center 30 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 2 sts twice on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 60 cm from beg, bind off rem 20 sts for shoulder.

Front: 

Work as given for back, but for neckline, after 50 cm from beg, bind off center 28 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 2 sts once and 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 60 cm from beg, bind off rem 20 sts for shoulder.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 52 sts and knit 2 rows.

Continue in Fancy Pattern.

Shape sleeve cap: After 11 cm from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then on every 2nd row 2 sts once, 1 st 6 times, 2 sts twice, 3 sts once and rem 14 sts once. 

Finishing:  

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves. 

With crochet hook, work 1 rnd sc and 1 rnd crab st (= sc from left to right) around neckline edge.
