Materials: 

Yarn: 100 g (100% Mercerized Cotton, yardage = 225 m/ 50 g) and 100 g (50% Viscose, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 1600 m/100 g, 3 strands of yarn held tog); 1 pair quick knit needles size 4.5 mm (US 7), crochet hook size 3.5 (US E).

Rib Pattern: alt K1, P1.

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Small Cable:

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Rep rows 1 and 2.

Lace Pattern: 

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts and yos P.

Repeat Rows 1-14 throughout.

Work according to chart 3. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.

Sleeve Pattern:

Work according to chart 4. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Gauge: 19 sts and 21.5 rows = 10 x 10 сm.

Back: 

Cast on 87 sts and work 2 rows in Rib Pattern. On the last row inc 1 st.

Cont as foll: selv st, 10 sts in St st, 4 sts in Small Cable, 23 sts in Lace Pattern, 12 sts in Cable Pattern, 23 sts in Lace Pattern, 4 sts in Small Cable, 10 sts in St st, selv st. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 40 cm from beg, at each end bind off 3 sts, then 2 sts once and 1 st twice on every 2nd row = 74 sts.

Neckline Shaping: After 54 cm from cast on, bind off center 40 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts twice and 11 rem sts once for shoulder on every 2nd row.

Front: 

Work like back, but with deeper neckline. 

To do that, when piece measures 50 cm from cast on, bind off center 32 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st once and 11 rem sts once for shoulder on every 2nd row. 

Sleeves: 

Cast on 39 sts and work 3 cm in Rib Patt.

Cont as foll: selv st, 14 sts in St st, 16 sts in Sleeve Pattern, 14 sts in St st, selv st. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st in St st each side every 4th row 6 times = 51 sts.

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 16 cm from beg, at each end bind off 3 sts, then 2 sts twice, 1 st 5 times, 2 sts once, 3 sts twice and rem 11 sts once on every 2nd row.

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves. 

With crochet hook, work 2 rnds sc (single crochet) around neckline.
