Sises: 12/14 (20/22).

Materials:

450 (550) g Canada Tital Wool by BBB Filati (70% Wool, 30% Acryli, 125 m per 50 g ball); 1 pair each 3,5mm and 4mm needles and one circular needle size 3,5mm.

Ribbing Patterns: Multiple of 4 + 2 + 2 selv sts.

Beg with 1 selv st, P2, * K2, P2, rep from * throughout, end with 1 selv st.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Reverse stocking stitch (Rev st st): Work RS rows P and WS rows K.

Cable lace pattern A and B: Multiple of 16.

Work according to charts 1 and 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts and yos P.

Rep patt rep and rows 1-24 throughout.

Work according to charts 3 and 4. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Work rows 1 - 12 once, then repeat rows 5-12.

Center Cable Panel (over 14 sts):

Work according to chart 5. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts and yos P.

Work rows 1 - 26 once, then repeat rows 7-26.

Gauge:

over patt mix: 25 sts and 28.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

over K2, P2 rib with 3,5 mm needles: 22,5 sts and 27,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Front:

Using needles size 3.5 mm, cast on 100 (128) sts and work 8 cm in Rib Patt for border; on last WC row inc 2 sts each over first 48 sts and last 48 sts = 104 (132) sts.

Using needles size 4 mm, cont in pats as foll: selv st, 2 (0) sts Rev st st, 32 (48) sts in Cable Lace Patt A, 1 stitch Rev st st, 8 sts in Cable A, 1 stitch Rev st st, 14 sts in Center Cable Panel, 1 stitch Rev st st, 8 sts in Cable B, 1 stitch Rev st st, 32 (48) sts in Cable Lace Patt B, 2 (0) sts Rev st st, selv st.

After row 3, there are 111 (139) sts on the needle.

Neckline Shaping: when work measures 43.5 cm = 124 rows (49 cm = 140 rows) from border, place center 25 (33) sts on a holder and finish both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge, bind off 4 sts every other row once, 3 sts once, 2 sts 3 times and 1 stitch twice.

When work measures 49 cm = 140 rows (54.5 cm = 156 rows) from border, bind off rem 28 (38) shoulder sts each.

Back:

Using needles size 3.5 mm, cast on 100 (128) sts and work 8 cm in Rib Patt for border, on the last WS row inc 16 (18) sts evenly spaced across = 116 (146) sts.

Using needles size 4 mm, cont in pats as foll: selv st, 1 stitch Rev st st, 112 (144) sts in Cable Lace Patt, 1 stitch Rev st st, selv st.

Neckline Shaping: When work measures 49 cm = 140 rows (54.5 cm = 156 rows) from rib patt, place center 60 (70) sts on a holder and bind off rem 28 (38) shoulder sts each.

Sleeve:

Using needles size 4 mm, cast on 46 (58) sts and work in Rib Patt, beg with 1 selv st, * P1, * K2, P1, rep from * throughout, end with 1 selv st.

Sleeve Shaping: At same time from beg, inc 1 stitch at each end of 6th row from beg, then every 6th row 19 times (on every 4th and 6th row alternately 26 times) = 86 (110) sts.

Cont until work measures 48,5 cm = 134 rows from beg. Bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Neckband: Place 85 (103) sts on holder to circular needle, on Row 1 pick up 22 sts from each front neck edge and work over all 129 (147) sts in Rib Pattern, working 2 sts together twice over Cable-sts A and B and 2 sts together 4 times over Center Cable sts = 121 (139) sts.

Cont until band meas 8 cm. Bind off all sts.

Fold neckband in half to WS and sew in place.

Set in sleeves. 

Join side and sleeve seams.
