Pullover with Lace and Cable Panel

Size: 10/12 (US 8/10).

Materials:

Yarn: 550 g (70% Wool, 30% Acrylic, yardage = 218 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular knitting needle, both size 2.5 mm (US 1.5).

Reverse stocking stitch (Rev St st): work RS rows P and WS rows K. 

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Cable Lace Panel: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Work Rows 1 - 38 once, then repeat Rows 17 - 38 throughout.

Gauge:

in Cable Lace Patt: 27.5 sts and 28.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

pulloverBack: 

Cast on 113 sts and work in Cable Lace Patt for 38 rows.

Next, work 22-row rep (rows 17-38) 8.5 times.

Neck Shaping: On Row 191 from beg, bind off center 39 sts and 1 stitch every other row 4 times at both neck edges.

On Row 200 from beg, bind off rem 33 shoulder sts on either side.

Front: 

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

Neck Shaping: On Row 179 from beg, bind off center 39 sts and 1 stitch every other row 4 times at both neck edges.

On Row 200 from beg, bind off rem 33 shoulder sts on either side.

Sleeves: 

Sew shoulder seams. 

With RS facing, pick up and k95 sts along top side edge of front and back (= each 20 cm) and continue as follows: selv st, 34 sts in Rev St st, 25 sts in Sleeve Patt, 34 sts in Rev St st, selv st.

Sleeve shaping: On Row 3 from beg, bind off 1 stitch at each end, then bind off 1 stitch every 4th row 24 times = 45 sts. 

Starting with Row 107 from beg, work in Rib Patt.

On Row 118 from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew side and sleeve seams.

Neck Band: With circular needle, pick up 120 sts evenly around neck edge and work 10 rnds in Rib Pat. Bind off all sts.
