Pullover with Collar and Zipper

Materials:

Yarn: 400 g (80% Mohair, 20% Acrylic, yardage = 500m / 100g); 1 pair of knit needle size 3 mm (US 2.5); one zipper, 30 cm long.

Rib Pattern: alt K1, P1 Rib.

Basic Pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear. 

Repeat Rows 1-2 throughout.

Back: 

Cast on 104 sts and work in Basic Pattern.

Neckline Shaping: After 55 cm from cast on, bind off center 30 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 4 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once.

When piece measures 58 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Front: 

Cast on 104 sts and work in Basic Pattern.

When piece measures 45 cm from cast on, divide work in half and complete both sides separately. 

When piece measures 52 cm from cast on, at inside edge bind off 10 sts once, 5 sts once, 4 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 58 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Sleeve: 

Cast on 49 sts and work in Basic Pattern.

For sleeve slant, inc 1 st on every 6th row. Work inc'd sts into pattern.

When piece measures 56 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing: 

Sew side and shoulder seams. Leave upper 13 cm open for armhole.  

Sew sleeve seams and set in sleeves.

For collar, pick up sts along neckline and work in Rib Patt. 

When collar meas 18 cm, work 1 row P. Then work in Rib Pattern. 

When collar measures 36 cm from pick up row, bind off all sts.

Fold collar in half to WS and sew in place. 

Sew in zipper.
