Pullover with Center Cables

Size: 10 (US 8).

MATERIALS

Yarn: 700 g Cisne Lolita (80% Acrylic, 20% Wool, yardage = 98 m / 100 g), 1 pair of knit needles size 6.5 mm and 1 tapestry needle.  

Rib Pat: alt K2, P2.

St st: k on RS rows, p on WS rows.

Cable Pattern:

Work according to chart.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

GAUGE

St st: 13 sts and 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

BACK

Cast on 63 sts and work 7 cm in Rib Patt while dec evenly 4 sts on the last row.

Cont in St st.

When piece measures 44 cm from beg, for armhole shaping, bind off 4 sts once at each end.

Neckline Shaping: After 13 cm from beg of armhole, bind off center 17 sts and cont both sides separately.

For rounding, at inside edge, bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts once and 1 st twice on every other row.

When work measures 20 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

FRONT

Cast on 63 sts and work 7 cm in Rib Patt while dec evenly 4 sts on the last row.

Cont as foll: 15 sts in St st, 29 sts in Cable Pat, 15 sts in St st.

When piece measures 44 cm from beg, for armhole shaping, bind off 4 sts once at each end.

Neckline Shaping: After 13 cm from beg of armhole, bind off center 17 sts and cont both sides separately.

For rounding, at inside edge, bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts once and 1 st twice on every other row.

When work measures 20 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

SLEEVES

Cast on 27 sts and work 7 cm in Rib Patt while inc evenly 5 sts on the last row.

Cont in St st.

Sleeve Shaping: at each side, inc 1 st 7 times on every 8th row.

When work measures 44 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

FINISHING

Sew one shoulder seam.

Neck Band: pick up 90 sts evenly around neck edge and work 3 rows in Rib Pat.

Then bind off all sts.

Sew second shoulder seam including neck band.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
