Pullover in Wavy Pattern

Sizes:M-L

Materials: 

Yarn: 300 g (95% Cotton, 5% Lurex, yardage = 500 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Wavy Pattern:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat rows 1-6 throughout.

Gauge: 18 sts and 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 87 sts and work in Wavy Pattern (= 5 patt reps + 2 selv sts). 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 32 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts, then 3 sts once and 1 st once on every 2nd row = 71 sts.

Neckline Shaping: After 48 cm from beg, bind off center 19 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 4 sts once and 3 sts once on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 51 cm from beg, bind off rem 19 sts for shoulder.

Front: 

Work as given for back, but for neckline, after 44 cm from beg, bind off center 17 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 st once on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 51 cm from beg, bind off rem 19 sts for shoulder.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 53 sts and work in Wavy Pattern (= 3 patt reps + 2 selv sts). 

For sleeve slants, bind off 1 st 4 times each side every 18th row = 61 sts.

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 46 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts, then 2 sts once, 1 st 14 times, 2 sts once on every 2nd row.

When piece measures 63 cm from beg, bind off rem 17 sts. 

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams. 

Collar: With circular needle, cast on 85 sts from RS around neck edge, then turn and work in rnds from WS in Wavy Pattern (= 5 patt reps).

On even-numbered rnds, knit. 

After 14 cm bind off sts loosely. 

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
