Pullover in Lace Pattern

Sizes: 8/10 and 12/14 (US 4/6 and 8/10).

No. of sts for size 12/14 (US 8/10) is shown in parentheses. 

If only one no. specified, it refers to all sizes.

Materials: 

Yarn: 8 (9) hanks of Linie 164 Java by ONline (67% Cotton, 33% Viscose, yardage = 158 m/50 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3-3.5 mm (US 2.5-4). 

Rib Pat: K2, P2 Rib.

Stockinette stitch (St st) in rnds: Work all rnds K.

Lace Pattern: 

Work according to chart. WS rows are shown.

Work WS rows acc to chart; work sts on RS rows as they appear; work yos K.

Rep rows 1-52 throughout.

Basic Pattern: 

Rev st st: P on RS rows; K on WS rows.

Gauge:

over Lace Pattern: 26 sts and 37 rows = 10 x 10 cm; 

over Rib Pattern: 30 sts and 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm. 

Back: 

Using 3-3.5 mm needles, cast on 109 (119) sts and knit 1 WS row and 1 RS row. Then cont as foll: selv st, K1 (K6) sts, patt rep 4 times, 1 st after patt rep, K1 (K6) sts, selv st. 

After 11 cm from cast on, for side slants, at each end inc 1 st, then inc 1 st 5 times on every foll 16th row = 121 (131) sts. 

Work increased sts in Basic Pattern.

When piece measures 56 cm = 208 rows from cast on, for shoulder slants, at each end bind off 6 sts once and on every foll 2nd row 4 (5) sts 5 times. 

Neckline Shaping: At the same time, when piece measures 56 cm = 208 rows from cast on, bind off center 49 sts, then on either side of them 5 sts once, 3 sts once and 2 sts once on every foll 2nd row.

Front: Work same as back.

Sleeve: 

Using 3-3.5 mm needles, cast on 66 (74) sts and work in Rib Patt beg with WS row as foll: selv st, *P1, K2, P1, rep from *, selv st.

At the same time, for side sleeve slants, at each end inc 1 st 12 times on every 6th row and 12 times on every foll 4th row = 114 (122) sts. 

When piece measures 44 cm from cast on, for upper sleeve slant, at each end bind off 6 sts once and on every foll 2nd row 6 sts 4 times. 

When piece measures 48 cm from cast on, bind off rem 54 (62) sts. 

Rep for other sleeve.

Finishing: 

Close shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

For rolled neckband, with circular needle, pick up 140 sts evenly around neck edge and work 3.5 cm in St st.
