Pullover in Lace Panels

Size: L/XL

Materials: 

Yarn: 350 g of MERINO DE LUXE (55% Wool, 45% Acrylic, yardage = 280 m/100 g) and 75 g of KID MOHAIR (yardage = 230 m/25 g); work with 2 strands of yarn held tog; 1 pair of knit needle size 2.5 mm (US 1.5) and crochet hook size 2.5 mm (US B/C).

Lace Panels:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts and yos P.

Gauge: 18 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 105 sts and work in Lace Panels as foll: selv st, work patt rep 17 times, end with 1 st after patt rep and 1 selv st. 

Armhole Shaping: When work measures 43 cm from beg, bind off 13 sts on either side = 79 sts.

Neck Shaping: After 61 cm from beg, bind off center 21 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge, bind off 3 sts once and 1 st twice on every 2nd row. 

When work measures 63 cm from beg, bind off rem 24 sts each side for shoulders.

Front: 

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

When piece measures 58 cm from cast on, bind off center 17 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st twice on every 2nd row. 

After 63 cm from beg, bind off rem 24 sts each side for shoulders.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 45 sts and work in Lace Panels as foll: selv st, work patt rep 7 times, end with 1 st after patt rep and 1 selv st. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 stitch each side on every 6th row 18 times = 81 sts. Work new sts into pat. 

When piece measures 54 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams. 

With crochet hook, work 1 rnd sc (single crochet), 1 rnd crab st (= sc from left to right) around neckline. 

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
