Pullover in Garter Stitch
Sizes: 12/14 (US 8/10).
Materials:
Yarn: 10 hanks of Cisne Fillati in #00503 orange (20% Wool, 80% Acrylic, yardage = 98 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 4.5 mm (US 7).
Gauge: 15 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 сm.
Reverse garter st (rev gst): purl every row.
Back:
Cast on 66 sts and work in rev gst.
Neckline Shaping: After 53 cm from cast on, bind off center 16 sts and complete each side separately. At neckline edge bind off 2 sts twice and 1 st once on every 2nd row.
When piece measures 57 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts for shoulder.
Rep for other side.
Front:
Cast on 44 sts and work in rev gst.
After 20 cm from cast on, bind off 22 sts once on left side.
After 37 cm from cast on, cast on new 22 sts on right side.
Neckline Shaping: After 49 cm from cast on, work 25 sts, bind off center 16 sts for neck center and work each side separately. At inside edge bind off 2 sts twice and 1 st once on every 2nd row.
After 57 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts for shoulder.
On other side, bind off 2 sts twice and 1 st once.
Pick up 55 sts evenly along right side edge and work in gst.
When work measures 15 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.
Pick up 51 sts evenly along left side edge and work in gst. At neckline edge inc 1 st 4 times on every 2nd row.
When work measures 15 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.
Right Sleeve:
Cast on 18 sts and work in gst. On right side, inc 10 sts twice and 5 sts 6 times on every 2nd row = 68 sts.
Work even 25 cm = 64 rows.
On right side, bind off 5 sts 6 times, 10 sts twice and then bind off rem sts.
Left Sleeve:
Cast on 36 sts and work in gst. On either side, inc 1 st 9 times on every 14th row.
When work measures 48 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.
Finishing:
Sew one shoulder seam and front seams.
Pick up 72 sts evenly around neck edge and work 4 rows in rev gst. Dec 10 sts evenly across last row, work 4 rows more and bind off all sts.
Sew second shoulder seam including neck band.
Set in sleeves.
Sew side and sleeve seams.
