Pullover in Fancy Pattern

Size: 10 (US 8).

Materials:

Yarn: 550 g (45% Wool, 55% Acrylic, yardage = 380m / 100g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 3 mm (US 3).

NB! Work with 2 strands of yarn held tog throughout.

Rib Pattern: alt K1, P1.

Fancy Pattern:

Work acc to сhart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Back:

Cast on 94 sts and work as foll: selv st, * 18 sts in Fancy Pattern, rep from * 4 times, P2, selv st.

Armhole Shaping: When work measures 45 cm from beg, bind off at each end 5 sts once, 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once on every 2nd row.

When piece measures 65 cm from cast on, bind off sts.

Front:

Work like back, but with neckline.

When piece measures 60 cm from beg, bind off center 30 sts and complete both sides separately.

After 5 cm bind off shoulder sts.

Work in reverse for other side.

Sleeve:

Cast on 40 sts and work as foll: selv st, * 18 sts in Fancy Pattern, rep from * once, P2, selv st..

Shape sleeve slants: At both ends inc 1st on every 10th row.

Cap Shaping: When work measures 42 cm from cast on, bind off at each end 5 sts once, 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st 3 times on every 4th row.

When piece measures 55 cm from cast on, bind off 5 sts once and 4 sts once, then bind off rem sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

Pick up 80 sts evenly around neck edge and work 4 rows in Rib Patt. Bind off all sts.
