Pullover in Fancy Pattern

Sizes: 10/12 (US 8/10).

Materials:

Yarn: 400 g (70% merino wool, 30% Acrylic, yardage = 300 m/100 g ball); one circular knitting needle size 2mm (US 0). 

Reverse stocking stitch: Work RS rows P; WS rows K.

Fancy pattern 1 & 2: 

Work according to charts 1 and 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Rib Pat: 

Work according to chart 3. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Gauge: 26.5 sts and 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back and Front are worked from the bottom up starting with the side line.

The side line is indicated with arrows in chart. 

Cast on 234 sts and join to work in the rnd, then work 10 rnd in Rib Patt.

Then work 120 rows in Fancy pattern = 6 rows reps.

Armhole Shaping: In Row 130 from beg, bind off 7 sts at each end = 206 sts.

Back (over 103 sts): 

Then work 60 rows in Fancy pattern = 3 rows reps. 

On Row 191 from beg, bind off all sts.

Front (over 103 sts): 

Then work 60 rows in Fancy pattern = 3 rows reps. 

Neckline Shaping: On Row 133 from beg, bind off center 19 sts and, at both ends of them, dec 1 stitch every other row twice = 40 sts. 

On Row 191 from beg, bind off rem 40 shoulder sts on either side.

Sleeve: 

Sew shoulder seam. 

Pick up 89 sts along armhole edge and distribute them as foll: selv st, 17 sts in rev st st, 14 sts in Fancy Patt 2, 25 sts in Fancy Patt 1, 14 sts in Fancy Patt 2, 17 sts in rev st st, selv st. 

Work in pats as established until 40 rows are complete. 

Sleeve shaping: On Row 41 from beg, bind off 1 st at each end, then bind off 1 st on every 6th row 13 times = 61 sts. 

Starting with Row 121 from beg work 10 rows in Rib Pat, then bind off sts.

Rep for other sleeve.

Finishing:

Sew sleeve seams.

Neck Band: With circular needle, pick up 126 sts evenly around neck edge and work 6 rnds in Rib Pat. Bind off all sts.
