Pullover in Fancy Pattern

Sizes: 12/14 (US 10/12)

Materials: 

Yarn: 700 g NAKO «ARCTIC» (40% Wool, 60% Acrylic, yardage = 100 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles size 4.5 mm (US 7) and one circular needle size 4 mm (US 6). 

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Stockinette st (St st): Knit on RS rows, purl on WS rows.

Fancy pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat rows 1-10 throughout.

Gauge:

in Fancy Pattern: 13 sts and 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back:

Cast on 54 sts and work 7 rows in Rib Patt for border.

Continue as follows: P4, 1 rep = 21 sts in Fancy Patt, P4, 1 rep = 21 sts in Fancy Patt, P4. 

Then work in Fancy pattern.

Side Shaping: Starting with Row 30 from border, inc 1 stitch each side every 10th row 3 times = 60 sts.

Armhole Shaping: On Row 71 from border, bind off 3 sts at each end, then 2 sts every other row once and 1 stitch once = 48 sts.

Neckline Shaping: On Row 105 from border, bind off center 22 sts and dec 1 stitch every row twice at both neck edges.

On Row 107 from border, bind off rem 11 shoulder sts on either side.

Front:

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

Neckline Shaping: On Row 87 from beg, bind off center 14 sts and dec 2 sts every other row twice and 1 stitch 5 times at both neck edges.

On Row 107 from border, bind off rem 11 shoulder sts on either side.

Sleeves:

Cast on 27 sts and work 7 rows in Rib Patt for border.

Continue as follows: P3, 1 rep = 21 sts in Fancy Patt, P3. 

Then work in Fancy pattern.

Sleeve Shaping: inc 1 stitch each side every 8th row 8 times = 43 sts.

Armhole Shaping: On Row 73 from border, bind off 3 sts at each end, then 2 sts every other row once, 1 stitch 9 times and 2 sts twice.

On Row 93 from border, bind off remaining 7 sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

Neck Band: With circular needle, pick up 64 sts evenly around neck edge and work 4 rnds in Rib Pat and 5 rnds in St st. 

Then bind off all sts.
