Pullover in Fancy Pattern

Size: 10/12 (US 8/10).

Materials:

Yarn: 550 g (49% Wool, 51% Acrylic, yardage = 225 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size US 6 (4 mm). 

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Fancy Pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Work rows 1 - 26 once, then rep rows 3 - 62 throughout.

Gauge: 22 sts and 30.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 106 sts and work 18 Rows in Rib Patt for border, inc 3 st on the last WS row = 109 sts.

Cont as foll: selvage st, K1, P1, work patt rep 5 times (Fancy Patt), K3, P1, selvage st.

Cont to work in Fancy Patt. 

For side slants, on Row 9 from border, inc 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch every 6th row 6 times, 1 stitch every 4th row 3 times = 129 sts.  

Sleeve Shaping: On Row 61 from border, inc 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch every other row 3 times, 2 sts 4 times, 3 sts 3 times, 4 sts once. 

Cast on for sleeves at each end 55 sts anew and work the inc sts into Fancy Patt. = 289 sts. 

Cont even for 34 rows.

Shoulder Shaping: On Row 121 from border, bind off 4 sts at each end, then on every 2nd row 4 sts 3 times, 5 sts 4 times, 6 sts 4 times, 7 sts 3 times, 8 sts 3 times and 11 sts once.  

On Row 159 from border, bind off rem 57 sts each side for shoulders.

Front: Work same as back.

Neck Shaping: On Row 147 from beg, bind off center 31 sts and at both sides of them 4 sts every other row once, 3 sts twice, 2 sts once and 1 stitch once = 0 sts.

Finishing:

Sew side seams and join shoulder seams. 

With crochet hook, work 1 row crab st (= sc from left to right) evenly around neck edge, ending with ss (slip stitch).
