Materials:

Yarn: 230 g (100% Combed Cotton, 900 m/100 g, 4 strands held tog); 1 one pair quick knit needles size 2.5 mm (US 1.5), one crochet hook size 1.5.

Rib Pattern:

Row 1: alt K1 tbl, P1.

Row 2: alt K1, P1 tbl.

Row 7: * cross 5 sts (chart 4), P1, rep from *.

Work 6 more rows in Rib Pattern (Row 1 + Row 2).

Cast on 116 sts and work 13 rows in Rib Patt.

Cont as foll: selv st, 19 sts acc to chart 1, 4 sts acc to chart 3, * 10 sts acc to chart 2, 4 sts acc to chart 3, rep from * 4 times, P3, 25 sts acc to chart 5, P3, 4 sts acc to chart 3, selv st.

Note:

On WS rows, work P tbl over K tbl in Lace Pattern of chart 1.

After working 27 patt reps acc to chart 2, work 13 rows in Rib Pattern and bind off all sts.

Rep for other piece.

Finishing:

At a height of 30 cm of long side of 1st piece (= 11 patt reps of chart 2), sew short side of 2nd piece over 12 patt reps of chart 2.

Fold 2nd piece along shoulder line (at a distance of 15 cm from seam), matching edges of long sides, and sew rem 15 cm of long side of 1st piece (= 4 patt reps of chart 2) to long side of 2nd piece at a distance of 30 cm from seam.

Rep for other side.

With crochet hook, work 1 rnd crab st (= sc from left to right) around armhole, neckline, and bottom edge.
