Size: 16 (US 12).

Materials: 

Yarn: 400 g (50% Wool, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 280 m/100 g); one circular needle size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Rib Pattern: 

Work RS rows alt K1, P1. 

On WS rows work all sts as they appear.

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Fancy Pattern: 

Work acc to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown. On WS rows work sts as they appear. 

Repeat Rows 1-24 throughout. 

Sleeve Pattern: 

Work acc to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown. On WS rows work sts as they appear. 

Repeat Rows 1-6 throughout.

Back: 

Cast on 72 sts and work 4 cm in Rib Patt. 

Cont in St st. 

Neck Shaping: When piece measures 58 cm from beg, bind off center 14 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at both ends on every RS row bind off 2 sts once and 1 st twice. 

When piece measures 64 cm from beg, bind off sts.

Front: 

Cast on 72 sts and work 4 cm in Rib Patt. Inc 6 sts evenly across last row = 78 sts.

Cont in Fancy Pattern. 

Sleeve: 

Cast on 34 sts and work 6 cm in Rib Patt. 

Cont to work in Sleeve Pattern. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st each side every 4th RS row 8 times.

When piece measures 54 cm from beg, bind off sts.

Finishing: 

Sew left shoulder seam.

Neck Band: Pick up selv sts around neck edge and work 1 cm in Rib Patt. 

Sew right shoulder seam. Sew band tog. Crochet in crab st (= sc worked from left to right) around neckline. 

Sew sleeve seams, then sew sleeves into armholes.
