Long Pullover with Round Yoke

Size: M-L

Materials:

Yarn: 800 g of Brilliant (45% Wool (Luster), 55% Acrylic, yardage = 380m / 100g); 1 pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 5 mm (US 8).

Stockinette St in the round: Knit every round.

Reverse stocking stitch (Rev st st): Work RS rows P and WS rows K.

Garter stitch (gst) in rnds: knit odd rnds, purl even rnds.

Basic Pattern:

Work acc to сhart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Beg with 1 selv st, rep pat throughout and end with 1 selv st.

Yoke: Using circular needles work once rows 1-20, rep rows 19-20.

On odd rows, work all sts as they appear; work yos K.

Back:

Cast on 87 sts and work 3 rows in Rev St st, then 51 cm Basic Pattern.

Place sts on a holder.

Front:

Work same as back.

Sleeves:

Cast on 42 sts and work 3 rows in Rev St st.

Continue in Basic Pattern as foll:

selv st, last 3 sts of patt rep, work patt rep twice, first 3 sts of patt rep, selv st.

For sleeve slants, inc 1 st on each side from border on every 6th row 14 times, working inc sts into pat = 70 sts.

When piece measures 42 cm from beg, place sts on holder.

Finishing:

Slip body and sleeve sts onto circular needles = 314 sts, work in Basic Pattern while on 1st row work selv st tog with preceding or following st = 306 sts.

On the foll 2nd row purl both sts tog before and after one K panel = 270 sts.

Rep these decs every 6th rnd 4 times more = 126 sts.

On the foll 2nd row knit the 1st st of K panel and preceding st tog, work 1 skpo with the 2nd st of panel and foll st = 90 sts.

After 15 cm from yoke beg, work 4 rows in gst while dec 6 sts evenly across first row = 84 sts.

Cont to work collar (25 cm in St st).

Bind off sts.
