Jacket in Lace Pattern

Size: 10 (US 6)

Materials:

Yarn: 400 g (100% Microfiber, yardage = 350 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Lace Pattern: 

Work acc to сhart. Only RS rows are shown. 

On WS rows work all sts as they appear.

Work rows 1-18 once, then rep rows 9-18 throughout.

Back: 

Cast on 85 sts and work in Lace Pattern.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 45 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 4 times on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 65 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.

Right Front:

Cast on 50 sts and work in Lace Pattern.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 45 cm from cast on, on left side bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st 4 times. 

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 55 cm from cast on, on right side bind off 5 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 st 6 times. 

When piece measures 65 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.

Left Front: Work in reverse.

Sleeves: 

Close shoulder seams. 

On either side of shoulder seam, along armhole edge, pick up 9 sts and work in Lace Pattern. 

Cap Shaping: at each end of row, create 1 st from selvage st of the armhole, working inc'd sts into Lace Pattern. 

In places rounding at the end of each row, on either side inc 2 sts once and 3 sts once. 

When piece measures 42 cm from underarm, bind off all sts.

Finishing: 

Sew side and sleeve seams.

Neck Band: Using crochet hook, work 3 rnds of sc (single crochet) and rev sc around outer edge of neck and fronts. 

Sleeve Band: Using crochet hook, work 4 rnds of sc (single crochet) and rev sc. 

With crochet hook, work 1 rnd of rev sc around lower edge of jacket. 

Sew on buttons.
