Dress in Fancy Pattern

Size: 12 (US 8).

Materials:

Yarn: 300 g (100% Acrylic, yardage = 395 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 4.5 mm (US 7), 1 crochet hook size 3 mm (US C) and 1 tapestry needle. 

Fancy Pattern A: work according to chart A.

Fancy Pattern B: work according to chart B.

Crochet trimming: work according to chart.

Gauge over St st: 22 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 сm.

Back:

Cast on 134 sts and work 4 rows in rev gst (purl RS and WS rows).

Cont in Fancy Pattern A. At each side, bind off 1 st 22 times on every 6th row.

After 58 cm from cast on cont in Fancy Pattern B.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 60 cm from cast on, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 1 st 3 times and 1 stitch once on every 2nd row. 

Neckline Shaping: After 17 cm from armhole beg, bind off center 14 sts and complete each side separately. At neckline edge, bind off 8 sts twice on every 2nd row.

When piece measures 20 cm from armhole beg, bind off all sts.

Rep for other side.

Front: Same as back.

Sleeves:

Cast on 58 sts and work 4 rows in rev gst (purl RS and WS rows).

Cont in Fancy Pattern B. At each side, inc 1 st 5 times on every 16th row.

Cap Shaping: After 27 cm from cast on, on either side bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 1 st 10 times, 6 sts once and 5 sts once on every 2nd row. 

Then bind off all sts.

Rep for other sleeve.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder and side seams.

Sew sleeve seams and set in sleeves.

With crochet hook, trim around neckline and sleeve and bottom edge of the dress acc to chart.
