Cut Sleeve Pullover in Fancy Pattern

Size: 12/14

Materials:

Yarn: 500 g (100% wool, yardage 250 m/50 g), one pair knit needles size 4 mm (US 2,5).

Stockinette stitch (St st): K on RS rows, p on WS rows.

Garter stitch (gst): Knit on RS and WS rows.

Seed stitch: Alt k1, p1. Stagger sts after each row. 

Fancy pattern:

Work according to chart. RS and WS rows are shown.

Work rows 0 - 48 once, then rep rows 1 - 40.

Front:

Cast on 99 sts and work 6 rows in Seed Stitch Patt.  

Then work in Fancy pattern. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 38 cm rows from welt, bind off 3 sts at each end, then 2 sts every other row once and 1 stitch once, then work even in pats.

Neckline Shaping: Bind off center 33 sts, at both ends of them, bind off 5 sts every other row twice, 3 sts twice and 2 sts twice. 

Then bind off the rem sts for shoulders.

Back:

Cast on 25 sts and work in Fancy Pattern, at each end inc 5 sts every other row, 4 sts twice, 3 sts twice, 2 sts twice for rounding.

Then inc 1 stitch at each end until there are 99 sts on needle.

Continue as for Front. 

Pick up sts across lower edge and work 6 rows in Seed stitch Patt for welt.

Sleeves:

Cast on 45 sts and work 5 rows in Seed stitch Patt, then work 5 rows in St st. 

* For the opening, over center 25 sts work 2 rows in garter st and bind off these 25 sts. 

On WS Rows cast on 25 sts over bound-off sts and work over all 45 sts in St st. 

Repeat from * 9-10 times (up to the required sleeve length).

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 42 cm from beg, at each end bind off 3 sts once, on every 2nd, bind off 2 sts once, 1 stitch 8 times, then bind off rem sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Neckband: Using circular needle pick up sts along neckline and work 6 cm in Seed stitch Patt.

Sew in sleeves, join side and sleeve seams.
