Size: Medium.

Materials:

Yarn: 1000 g (50% Wool, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 240 m/100 g); one circular needle size 4 mm (US 6), crochet hook size 4 mm (US G), 7 buttons.

Stocking stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Garter st (gst): purl RS and WS rows.

Cable Pattern:

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.

Sleeve Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-10 throughout.

Back:

Cast on 128 sts and work 2 rows in garter st.

Continue to work in Cable Patt.

For waist shaping, at purl ridge stripe decrease on every 18th row 1 stitch 10 times evenly.

For the Armhole Shaping, after 73 cm from beg, bind off at each end 3 sts, then on every 2nd row 2 sts once and 1 st twice.

When piece measures 97 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Right Front:

Cast on 68 sts and work 2 rows in garter st.

Continue to work in Cable Patt.

For the Waist Shaping, at purl ridge stripe decrease on every 18th row 1 stitch 5 times evenly.

For the Armhole Shaping, after 73 cm from beg, bind off 3 sts at left edge, then on every 2nd row 2 sts once and 1 st twice.

For the Neckline Shaping, after 92 cm from beg, bind off 3 sts at right edge, then on every 2nd row 2 sts once and 1 st twice.

When piece measures 97 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Left Front: Work in reverse.

Sleeves:

Cast on 46 sts and work 2 rows in garter st.

Continue to work in Cable Patt.

For the Sleeve Shaping, increase 1 stitch on every 12th row 8 times at each end.

For the Cap Shaping, after 30 cm from beg, bind off at each end 3 sts, then on every 2nd row 2 sts once and 1 stitch 16 times.

When piece measures 52 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Close shoulder seams.

Sew in sleeves, join side and sleeve seams.

For the Collar, pick up sts with Right Side facing and evenly around neck edge and work 5 cm in St st, then bind off all sts.

For Button bands, pick up sts along each straight front edge incl short edges of neckband. Crochet 4 R single crochet, At the sime time, work evenly 7 buttonholes in right band.

Sew on buttons.
