Instructions:
Cast on 170 stitches and work in basket weave pattern.
When the piece measures 75 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off 10 stitches once at each side for the armholes.
The stitches are now divided into three parts: right front, back, and left front.
Continue working each part separately.
When the back measures 97 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.
On the right front, for the neckline, bind off 1 stitch at the beginning of every right-side row 6 times.
Work the left front symmetrically to the right one.
Sleeves:
Cast on 44 stitches and work in basket weave pattern.
To shape the sleeve, increase 1 stitch in reverse stockinette stitch at each side every 5th right-side row 10 times.
When the piece measures 44 cm from the cast-on edge, shape the sleeve cap by binding off at each side on every right-side row 3 stitches once, 2 stitches twice, 1 stitch 12 times, and 2 stitches once.
When the piece measures 58 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off all remaining stitches.
Finishing:
Sew shoulder seams.
Sew in sleeves.
For the button bands, pick up stitches along the front edges and work 12 cm in ribbing pattern.
For the neckline band, pick up stitches along the neckline edge and work 4 cm in ribbing pattern.
Sew on the hooks and eyes.
