Size: US 8 / UK 12.

600 g of yarn (100% mercerized cotton, 396 m per 150 g); сircular knitting needles size 4.0 mm (US 6 / UK 8), 80 cm long; 2 cable needles or spare needles.

Garter stitch: Knit all rows, both right and wrong sides.

Work right front, left front, back, and sleeves in back-and-forth rows.

Knit the body in one piece, beginning with the right and left fronts and finishing with the back.

Cast on 52 stitches and work 3 cm in garter stitch for the front band.

Next row: knit 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, work 48 stitches in lace stripe pattern (8 repeats of 6 stitches), knit 3 stitches in garter stitch (front band).

When work measures 80 cm from the cast-on edge, place all 52 stitches on a spare needle to work the back later.

Cast on 52 stitches and work 3 cm in garter stitch for the front band.

Next row: knit 3 stitches in garter stitch (front band), work 48 stitches in lace stripe pattern (8 repeats of 6 stitches), knit 1 edge stitch in garter stitch.

When work measures 80 cm from the cast-on edge, place all 52 stitches on a spare needle to work the back later.

Return the held stitches from the left and right fronts to the circular needle in the following order: 52 stitches (left front) and 52 stitches (right front) = 104 stitches in total.

Continue as follows: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, 102 stitches in lace stripe pattern (17 repeats), 1 edge stitch in garter stitch.

When the back measures 77 cm from where it begins, work in garter stitch.

At 80 cm total length, bind off all stitches and set the piece aside.

Cast on 80 stitches and work 3 cm in garter stitch for the cuff.

When work measures 41 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.
