V-Neck Pullover in Leaves Pattern

Sizes: 14/16 (US 10/12).

Materials:

200 g Nako «Angora Supreme» (70% mohair, 30 % acrylic, yardage = 50 m/100 g); one pair knit needles and one circular knitting needle, both size 3 mm (US 2,5).

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Leaves Pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Work rows 1 - 20 once, then rep rows 3 - 20 throughout.

Gauge:

in Leaves Pattern: 22 sts and 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

over ribbing pattern: 22 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 105 sts and work 22 rows in Rib Patt for welt.

Then work 106 rows in Leaves Patt. 

Neckline Shaping: On Row 107 from Rib Patt, bind off center 25 sts, then bind off 3 sts every other row once and 2 sts once at both neck edges. 

On Row 115 from Rib Patt, bind off rem 35 shoulder sts on either side.

Front: 

Work like back, but with V-neckline.

V-neckline Shaping: On Row 67 from Rib Patt, bind off center 1 stitch and dec at both sides of it 1 stitch every other row 10 times, 1 stitch every 4th row 7 times. 

On Row 115 from Rib Patt, bind off rem 35 shoulder sts on either side.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 50 sts and work 22 rows in Rib Patt for welt. 

Then work 66 rows in Leaves Patt.

Sleeve Shaping: On Row 11 from Rib Patt, inc 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch every 4th row 14 times = 80 sts. 

On Row 67 from Rib Patt, bind off all sts. 

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew in sleeves, join side and sleeve seams.

Neckband: With RS facing and circular needle pick up 100 sts evenly around neck edge and work in Rib Patt for 16 rnd.

To shape, on Row 2 place K1 at center of Front Neckline and slip this sitch with preceding stitch tog kwise, K1, pass two slipped stitches over = 70 sts.

On Row 17 from picked-up sts, bind off all sts.
