Raglan Pullover with Leaf Pattern

Size: 12 (US 8).

Yarn: 400 g (100% wool, yardage = 400 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 4.5 mm (US 7) and one circular needle size 4 mm (US 6).

Rib Patt: K2, P2 Rib.

Leaf Pattern with Cables:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Gauge: 19 sts and 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 92 sts and work as foll: selv st, 32 sts in St st, 26 sts in Leaf Pattern with Cables, 32 sts in St st, selv st. 

Raglan Shaping: When piece measures 38 cm from beg, at each end bind off 3 sts; work 17 times: at beg of every RS row after selv st - skpo (sl 1 st knitwise, k1, pass sl st over), at end of row before selv st - K2tog. 

When piece measures 54 cm from beg, put rem 58 sts aside.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 46 sts and work as foll: selv st, 9 sts in St st, 26 sts in Leaf Pattern with Cables, 9 sts in St st, selv st. 

Sleeve Shaping: At each end, inc 1 stitch every 4th row 10 times, then 1 stitch every 6th row 8 times = 82 sts. Work new sts in St st. 

When piece measures 38 cm from beg, shape raglan same as for back and put rem 42 sts aside. 

Finishing: 

Neckband: Place open sts of left sleeve, back, right sleeve and front onto circular needle. Work selv sts tog = 196 sts.

Then work 8 cm in rnds in Rib Patt. Bind off sts. 

Sew side, raglan and sleeve seams.
