Pullover with Textured Pattern

Size: 10/12 (US 8/10).

Materials:

Yarn: 350 g Magic «SUPER EXCELLENCE» (49% Wool, 51% Acrylic, yardage = 228 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2,5), cable needle or stitch holders.

Stocking stitch (St st): work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Garter stitch (gst): Knit on RS and WS rows.

Rib Pattern: K2, P2 Rib.

Textured Pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Transverse Rib Pattern: alt 10 rows in St st and 4 rows in gst.

Gauge: 

over gst 17 sts and 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 90 sts and work 14 rows in Rib Patt. 

Then work 84 rows as follows: selv st, 19 sts in gst, 19 sts in Textured Patt (from arrow A to arrow B), 12 sts in Transverse Rib Patt, 19 sts in Textured Patt (from arrow B to arrow C), 19 sts in gst, selv st. 

Armhole Shaping: On Row 85 from Rib Patt, bind off 3 sts at each end, then 1 stitch every other row twice = 80 sts.

Neck Shaping: On Row 31 from beg armhole, bind off center 32 sts and 3 sts each side every other row twice. 

On Row 37 from beg armhole, bind off rem 18 sts each side for shoulders. 

Front: 

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

Neckline Shaping: On Row 27 from beg armhole, bind off center 28 sts, then 3 sts each side every other row twice and 1 stitch twice. 

On Row 37 from beg armhole, bind off rem 18 sts each side for shoulders.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 60 sts and work 22 rows in Rib Patt.

Next, work 104 rows in Garter st. 

On Row 105 from Rib Patt, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

Collar: With circular needle, pick up 84 sts evenly around neck edge and work 57 rnds in Rib Pat, bind off all sts as they appear.
