Pullover with Lace Sleeves

pullover Size: 12/14 (US 8/10). 

Materials:

Yarn: 400 g (100% Acrylic, yardage = 254 m/100 g); quick knit needles sizes 3.5 and 4 mm (US 4 and 6) and one circular needle size 4 mm (US 6). 

Rib Patt: K2, * P2, K2, rep from *. 

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P. 

Lace Pattern: Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown. 

On WS rows, work all sts and yos P.

Repeat from * to * throughout. 

Gauge:

21 sts and 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm over St st with 4 mm needles. 

pulloverFront, back and sleeves are worked in one piece. 

With circular needle, cast on 116 sts and join for working in rnds as foll:  

Rnd 1: 2 sts in St st, 48 sts in Lace Pattern for sleeve, K2, 1 yo, inc 1 st (create 2 sts from 1 st), 4 sts in St st for back, inc 1 st, 1 yo, K2, 48 sts in Lace Pattern for sleeve, K2, 1 yo, inc 1 st, 4 sts in St st for front, inc 1 st, 1 yo. 

Rnd 2 and all even rnds: Knit. 

Rnd 3 and all odd rnds: Work incs and yos on either side of 2 sts of St st along with Lace Pattern (2 sts, 48 sts in Lace Pattern, K2 of sleeve). These sts do not change to the end of armhole.

4 sts of St st will increase from 1st row to the end of armhole. 

Incs and yos will shape raglan. 

Work 21 incs and 21 yos = 42 incs.

There are 284 sts on needles. Divide work as foll: 52 sts for sleeve (K2, 48 sts in Lace Pattern, K2), 90 sts in St st for back, 52 sts for sleeve (K2, 48 sts in Lace Pattern, K2), 90 sts in St st for front.   

Place sts of sleeves onto holder. Work sts of back and front in St st in rnds. Inc 10 sts each side between them = 200 sts.  

After 35 cm from armhole work in Rib Patt. 

After 38 cm from armhole bind off all sts as they appear. 

Place sts of sleeve from holder onto 4 mm needles. Inc 5 sts each side and work as foll: 7 sts in St st, 48 sts in Lace Pattern, 7 sts in St st. 

For sleeve slants, after 4 cm from armhole, dec 1 st 5 times each side every 10th row. 

After 48 cm switch to 3.5 mm needles and work 2 cm in Rib Patt. Then bind off all sts as they appear.

Rep for other sleeve. 

Finishing:

Sew sleeve seams. 

Neckband: With circular needle, pick up 96 sts evenly around neck edge and work in Rib Patt. 

Cont until band meas 2 cm. Bind off all sts.
