Pullover with Lace Cables

Size: 10 (US 6)

Materials:

Yarn: 300 g (70% Mohair, 30% Acrylic, yardage = 550 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Small Cable Pattern:

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-2 throughout.

Lace Cable Pattern: 

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-54 throughout.

Back: 

Cast on 90 sts and work 8 cm in Small Cable Pattern. Inc evenly 52 sts on the last row.

Cont in Basic Patt.

Neckline Shaping: After 51 cm from cast on, bind off center 46 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once on every 2nd row.

When piece measures 54 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.

Front: 

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 54 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 42 sts and work 8 cm in Small Cable Pattern. Inc evenly 40 sts on the last row.

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st each side every 8th row. 

When piece measures 44 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.

Finishing: 

Close shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

Neck Band: With circular needle, pick up 120 sts evenly around neck edge and work 2 rnds in St st, then 6 cm in Small Cable Pattern. Bind  off all sts.
