Pullover with Diamond Cable Pattern

Materials:

Yarn: 200 g (100% Cotton, yardage = 338 m / 200 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 6 mm (US 10).  

Fancy Pattern: work according to chart 1. 

Rib Pattern: work according to chart 2.

Gauge: 

over Rib Pattern: 12 sts and 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm. 

Back:

Cast on 88 sts and work in Fancy Pattern.  

After 50 cm from cast on place sts onto holder. 

Front: 

Cast on 88 sts and work in Fancy Pattern.  

When piece measures 47 cm from beg, for neckline shaping, bind off center 20 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row. 

After 50 cm from cast on bind off rem 28 sts each side for shoulders and place sts onto holder. 

Sleeves:

Cast on 54 sts and work in Fancy Pattern.  

After 45 cm from cast on place sts onto holder.

Rep for other sleeve. 

Finishing:

Sew side seams (32 cm each side) leaving 18 cm open for armholes. 

Sew left shoulder seam (20 cm). 

Pick up 72 sts evenly around neck edge and work 4 rows in Rib Patt acc to chart 2. Then bind off all sts. 

Sew band seam and right shoulder seam (20 cm). 

Sew sleeve seams and set in sleeves.
