Pullover with cables

Sizes: M-L.

Materials:

Yarn: 470(500) g (100% mohair); 1 pair quick knit needles US 7 (4,5 mm) and 1 circular knitting needle size US 7 (4,5 mm).

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Mesh Pattern: work according to chart 1.

Work the sts as they are shown.

Cable pattern: work according to chart 2.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Half brioche stitch: work according to chart 3.

On even-numbered rnds work all sts as they appear.

Garter stitch in the round: knit one row, then purl one row.

Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 сm.

Back and Front:

Using 4.5mm needles and with double strand cast on 104 (108) sts and work in pats as foll: 28(30) sts in Mesh Pattern, 14 sts in Cable Patt, 20 sts in Mesh Pattern, 14 sts in Cable Patt, 28 (30) sts in Mesh Pattern.

When piece measures 40(42) cm from cast on transfer all sts onto spare needle.

Sleeve:

Cast on 76 sts and work 4 rows in Rib Patt.

Then work as foll: 14 sts in Mesh Pattern, 14 sts in Cable Patt, 20 sts in Mesh Pattern, 14 sts in Cable Patt, 14 sts in Mesh Pattern.

When piece measures 46 cm from cast on transfer all sts onto spare needle.

Round Yoke:

Place the sts of right Sleeve, Front, Back and left Sleeve from holder to circular needle. 

Then work 4 rnd in Half brioche stitch and after every 20th st of rnd dec 2 sts (= SK2P: slip 1 kwise, K2tog, pass slipped stitch over)

Work 12 rnd.

Next row (RS): * SK2P (sl 1 kwise, K2tog, pass slipped stitch over) P1, rep from * to end.

Work 12 rnd.

Next, work 8 rnds in garter st and bind off all sts.

Sew side and sleeve seams.
