Pullover in Diamond Lace Pattern

Sizes: 12/14 (US 10/12).

Materials:

Yarn: 360 g (90 % acrylic, 10 % nylon; 245 m per 100 g ball); one circular needle size 3 mm (US 2.5) and crochet hook size 2.5 mm (US B).

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Diamond Lace Pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat rows 1-36 thoughout.

Gauge: 20 sts and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back and Front: 

With circular needle, cast on 180 sts (10 patt reps) and join for working in rnds.

Next, work in Diamond Lace Pattern for 126 rows = 3.5 rows reps. 

On Row 127 from beg, divide the work in the middle and work each piece separately.

Back (over 90 sts):

Armhole Shaping: On Row 127 from beg, bind off 8 sts at each end = 74 sts (4 patt reps + 2 selv sts). 

Work in Diamond Lace Pattern for 55 rows = 5 rows reps from beg. 

On Row 182 from beg, bind off all sts.

Front (over 90 sts): 

Armhole Shaping: On Row 127 from beg, bind off 8 sts at each end = 74 sts (4 patt reps + 2 selv sts). 

Neckline Shaping: On Row 127 from beg, divide piece into 2 sections (38 + 37 sts) and inc center 1 stitch = 38 + 38 sts. 

For neck slant, bind off 1 stitch every other row 18 times at neck edge. 

Cont even. 

On Row 182 from beg, bind off rem 20 shoulder sts on either side.

Sleeves:

Sew shoulder seams. 

Pick up 92 sts along armhole edge and work in Diamond Lace Pattern for 91 rows = there are 2.5 rows reps of the Diamond Lace Pattern. 

On Row 92 from beg, dec 46 sts evenly spaced across = 46 sts. 

Next, work in Rib Patt for 9 rows, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew side and sleeve seams.

With crochet hook, work 1 rnds sc (single crochet) around neck edge. 

Join row with sl st to first st.
