How to knit Leaf Cable Stitch:

Multiple of 13 + 3 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 18 sts (13 + 3 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work sts as they appear and yo's P.

The pat rep = 13 sts wide.

The number of stitches varies within 18 rows of pattern repeat.

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

C4B: slip 2 sts to cn, hold to back, K2, K2 from cn

yo: yarn over

Row 1: edge st, * p3, k2, C4B, p3, yo, k1, yo, repeat from * to last 4 sts, p3, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p3, C4B, k2, p3, yo, k3, yo, repeat from * to last 4 sts, p3, edge st.
