Lace Zigzag Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Zigzag Stitch:

Work with multiple of 10 sts + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 23 stitches (5 + 10 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 10 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and 5 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 6 sts after patt and 1 edge st.

Row 1: edge st, yo (yarn over), skpo (= slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch), k3, * k1, (yo, skpo) 3 times, k3, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k1, yo, skpo, yo, skpo, k1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, k1, yo, skpo, k2, * k2, (yo, skpo) 3 times, k2, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k2, (yo, skpo) twice, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k2, yo, skpo, k1, * k3, yo, skpo, k2, yo, skpo, k1, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k3, yo, skpo, k1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k3, yo, skpo, * k2, yo, skpo, k4, yo, skpo, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k2, yo, skpo, k2, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k2, yo, skpo, yo, * skpo, yo, skpo, k4, yo, skpo, yo, repeat from * to last 7 sts, skpo, yo, skpo, k3, edge st.
