How to knit Lace Diamond Stitch:

Multiple of 6 + 1 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 15 sts (3 + 6 + 4 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 6 sts.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

Row 1: edge st, yo (yarn over), skpo, k1, * k3, yo, skpo, k1, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, k2, k2tog, yo, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, k1, yo, skpo, * k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, k1, k2tog, yo, k1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k2, yo, * sk2p, yo, k3, yo, repeat from * to the last 6 sts, sk2p, yo, k2, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k3, * yo, skpo, k4, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, yo, skpo, k2, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k1, k2tog, yo, * k1, yo, skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, k1, yo, skpo, k1, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, k2tog, yo, k1, * k2, yo, sk2p, yo, k1, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, k2, yo, skpo, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1- 12 throughout.
