Lace Crochet Pullover
How to crochet a Lace Pullover:
Size: US 14–16 / UK 18–20  
Materials:  
350 g of yarn (50% wool, 50% acrylic; 392 m/100 g); crochet hook size D-3 (UK 11); 2 beads.  
Lace Pattern: work according to the chart.  
Fantasy Pattern: work according to the chart.  
Edgings: work following edging charts 1 and 2.  
Gauge:  
Lace pattern: 21 stitches x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm  
Fantasy pattern: 26 stitches x 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm  
Back:
Chain 115 (109 base chains + 1 turning chain + 5 chains).  
Row 1: Work 1 single crochet into the 11th chain from the hook, * chain 5, 1 single crochet into the 4th chain from the hook *, repeat from * to * 24 times.  
Row 2: Chain 6 (4 turning chains + 2 chains), * 1 single crochet into the 5-chain space of the previous row, 8 double treble crochets into the next 5-chain space *, repeat from * to * 8 times, chain 2, 1 double treble crochet into the single crochet of the previous row.  
Continue in lace pattern according to the chart through row 58.  
To shape the armholes, at row 35 from the beginning, leave 8 stitches unworked on each side, then in the next row leave 2 more stitches on each side (= 88 stitches).  
To shape the neckline, at row 56 from the beginning, leave the center 36 stitches unworked (= 26 stitches remain on each side).  
At row 58 from the beginning, fasten off.  
Work the left shoulder the same way.  
Front:  
Work as for the back.  
To shape the neckline, at row 40 from the beginning, leave the center 22 stitches unworked, then on both sides of them in each row: 3 times 2 stitches, 1 time 1 stitch unworked (= 26 stitches remain on each side).  
At row 58 from the beginning, fasten off.  
Work the left shoulder the same way.  
Sleeves:  
Chain 63 (57 base chains + 3 turning chains + 3 additional chains).  
Row 1: Work 1 double crochet into the 11th chain from the hook, chain 1, 1 double crochet into the same chain, * chain 3, 1 double crochet into the 4th chain from the hook, chain 1, 1 double crochet into the same chain *, repeat from * to * 10 times (12 repeats in total), chain 3, 1 double crochet into the 4th chain from the hook.  
Row 2: Chain 6 (3 turning chains + 3 chains), * 1 double crochet into the chain space of the previous row, chain 1, 1 double crochet into the same space, chain 3 *, repeat from * to * 11 times (12 repeats in total), 1 double crochet into the last double crochet of the previous row.  
Continue in fantasy pattern according to the chart through row 68.
To shape the sleeve, in row 9 from the beginning, increase 2 stitches on each side, then in every 4th row increase 2 stitches 7 more times (= 95 stitches).  
To shape the sleeve cap, in row 48 from the beginning, leave 6 stitches unworked on each side, then in every 2nd row leave 2 stitches unworked 5 times, 3 stitches 3 times, and 4 stitches 2 times (= 29 stitches remain).  
At row 68 from the beginning, fasten off.
Finishing:  
Sew shoulder and side seams.  
Sew sleeve seams.  
Set in sleeves.  
Work edging in rounds along the cuffs and neckline following edging chart 1, from row 1 to row 4. Finish each round with a slip stitch.  
Work edging in rounds along the bottom hem of the pullover following edging chart 2, from row 1 to row 4. Finish each round with a slip stitch. 
Crochet Cord:  
Chain 4 (1 base chain + 3 turning chains).  
Row 1: Work 1 double crochet into the 4th chain from the hook.  
Rows 2–110: Chain 3 for turning, work 1 double crochet into the double crochet of the previous row.  
Weave the finished crochet cord through the holes along the bottom edge of the pullover as shown in the photo.  
Decorate the ends of the cord with beads.
