Hat and Scarf

Head circumference = 56 cm

Scarf: width = 22 cm, length = 88 cm

Materials:

Yarn: 300 g (50% Wool, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 300 m/100 g); 1 pair of knit needle size 3 mm (US 2.5), crochet hook size 3 mm (US C).

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Hat Pattern: 

Work acc to сhart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear or as stated in key to chart, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-24 throughout.

Scarf Pattern: 

Work acc to сhart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear or as stated in key to chart, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-38 throughout.

Hat:

Cast on 137 sts and work in Rib Patt. 

When work measures 3 cm from beg, inc 48 sts evenly and cont in Hat Patt.

Work rows 1-24. 

When work meas 15 cm from beg, dec sts acc to chart in Rows 25-40.

Draw rem sts tightly tog and fasten off. 

Sew seam. 

Scarf:

Cast on 62 sts and work in Scarf Patt. 

When piece measures 88 cm from beg, bind off all sts.
